Make Great Pictures, Now!
2-SESSION CLASS
Photographic Composition Course
LEVEL: Beginning & Intermediate Photographers
(View Course Requirements)
In just two hours, you will see the world through your lens in completely new way, changing your photography forever. (Gift Cards for this class are available.)
You will become a different photographer and have the knowledge to create poignant, dynamic images by simply changing your perspective. As a matter of fact, great photography is just a game of inches: Take a picture from one position and you get a boring image. Now, move the camera just a couple of inches and suddenly you have a dramatic photo. But, how do you know where to move? Well, that's what this class teaches you.

However, many of the ideas taught in this photography composition class are not the usual rules that you might learn in art school. Mike has indentified some new ones. And, he doesn't bog you down with a million of them, either. Instead, Mike teaches the very rules that he uses in the field to create his internationally recognized images.
As one of our students put it, "I love Mike's photography. I didn't sign up just to learn how to compose a picture. I took the class to learn composition from Mike's unique perspective."
What's so great about this class, is that students INSTANTLY IMPROVE. It's actually wonderful thing to see!
COURSE AGENDA
The initial session usually takes place on a weeknight at Mike's home and studio in Downers Grove (a Chicago, Illnois suburb). During the first session, Mike projects several images on the screen and, in a lively class discussion, students are asked to determine which rules apply to each photo. The course is very interactive and includes lots of examples to help students absorb the information through repetition. At the end of the first session, a photo assignment is given
When you return for the second session, Mike will display the homework images and give an educational critique of each student's work, noting the improvement and giving practical tips. During this discussion session, all remaining questions will be addressed.
The class will be limited to 8 to 12 students, depending on the experience level of the participants. So, please register quickly to insure a spot.
